What is the time complexity of the Floyd–Warshall algorithm for a graph with n vertices?

  1. (A) O(n³)
  2. (B) O(n log n)
  3. (C) O(n²)
  4. (D) O(2ⁿ)

Answer: (A) O(n³). Three nested loops over all vertices. It solves the all-pairs shortest path problem using Dynamic Programming.

In a B-tree of order m, each internal node can have up to how many children?

  1. (A) m − 1
  2. (B) m
  3. (C) m/2
  4. (D) 2m

Answer: (B) m. Up to m children and up to m − 1 keys. Do not swap these two numbers.

Connected components in a graph can be found using which traversal?

  1. (A) DFS only
  2. (B) BFS only
  3. (C) Both DFS and BFS
  4. (D) Neither DFS nor BFS

Answer: (C) Both DFS and BFS. Start from any unvisited vertex; everything reached is one component. Repeat until no unvisited vertex is left.
